Could Hypnosis Have Saved Michael Jackson?
by Dr Silvia

Michael Jackson was a much troubled soul, to be sure.
There was more the matter with him than "just" an addiction to pain killers,
being in constant pain, and being unable to sleep, of this there can be no
doubt.
But if we take simple what killed him on the night he died, and why
Michael Jackson entered into a course of action that led directly to his death,
we really must ask the question - if he had known about hypnosis, would his life
have been saved?
What Michael Jackson wanted from his doctor above all else was to be able to
go to sleep quickly.
Just this one thing - to be able to go to sleep. Quickly.
- And if there is ONE thing that hypnosis can and does provide, you could call
it the mainstay of hypnosis, hypnosis 101 or the very foundation of hypnosis
itself it is to PUT PEOPLE TO SLEEP - QUICKLY.
The very words hypnosis and hypnotism are derived from the
Greek word hypnos, meaning sleep!
A reasonable hypnotist with a reasonably experienced subject can put this
person into a COMA in SECONDS.
Without any drugs at all, simply by utilising certain NATURAL functions in a
person's body, mind and neurology, a hypnotist can make their subject lose
consciousness INSTANTLY.
Once this has happened, the hypnotist can suggest hypnosleep to start with,
which will then turn NATURALLY into a deep, deep sleep.
Now we can't know if this sleep would have lasted long in the particular case
of Michael Jackson, perhaps only three hours or so - but with a hypnotist at
hand, as soon as he wakes up, if he doesn't feel refreshed, Michael Jackson
could have simply repeated the procedure, with no risk of death, no stress on
his body from drugs or chemicals, and in an altogether loving and supportive
way.
Why didn't Michael Jackson call upon a hypnotist or a hypnotherapist instead
of this witchdoctor of his, whose only purpose seems to have been to provide
more and more dangerous chemical cocktails to mess with his already exhausted
body, his exhausted mind and his exhausted spirit?
It is true that there is a TINY proportion of people who can't be hypnotized
easily.
These people are always and without fail on the AUTISTIC SPECTRUM RANGE, even
if they have never been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome or actual autism.
Michael Jackson was FAR from being autistic. In fact, Michael Jackson as an
emotionally capable, imaginative ARTIST was the PERFECT candidate for hypnosis
to work like a charm, like a dream.
But further, Michael Jackson could have learned how to be a better hypnotic
subject with the help of any reasonable hypnotist.
- What people don't know about hypnosis is that every time you enter
into the process, you learn more about how to do this, and you get better at
it.
You get better at letting go, at relaxing, at entering various depth of
trance BY YOURSELF - you get better at self hypnosis.
Imagine for a moment, if Michael Jackson had put his kids to bed and sat down
with his hypnotist for an hour or so, practicing going into and out of trance,
how calming that would have been, how GOOD that would have been for him to take
his mind of his troubles, and what amazing benefits Michael Jackson could have
had.
Pain control, feeling and not feeling pain is one of those things, and
dealing with the feelings of fear and body sensations of drug withdrawal is
another.
Michael Jackson and his hypnotist could have done all sorts of hypnotic
exercises, from practicing going really deep really quickly, and then deeper and
deeper still, come back out, let's do it again; they could have practiced pain
relief with hypnosis and deepest physical relaxation which is so important to
help the body heal; they could have practiced self hypnosis and
guided meditation, where they could have discussed a perfect place for Michael
to go to to find peace, healing, relief from mental and emotional pain.
In the process, Michael Jackson would have learned so much about himself,
about his mind, about his body, and this would have helped him have a more
loving relationship with himself in the day as well.
So WHY was this not done?
Why did Michael Jackson turn to a quack with quick fix solutions which are NO
SOLUTIONS AT ALL, only make everything worse and eventually lead to his death
and his loss to his beloved children?
I have two answers to that which are both speculation.
The first is that Michael Jackson might have "tried" hypnosis once or twice
and wasn't impressed.
The fact is that hypnosis is a LEARNED SKILL that you need to practice, just
like you practice dance moves, or learn how to drive a car. The first time out
is often not anything to do with the real results you get with a bit of
practice.
The second thought that came to me and I hope this is not true is the
religious objections to hypnosis.
Some Christians and other religious types have been made to think hypnosis is
somehow not good or something; don't understand it, misrepresent it, make
hypnosis out to be evil.
I'm sorry but what happened to Michael Jackson, that was evil; and the
benefits for him, his family and the wider ever increasing circles of his fans
and all those other people who are touched by Michael Jackson's untimely death
that hypnosis could have provided would have been GOOD in every way you look at
it.
Could hypnosis have saved Michael Jackson?
I believe absolutely, yes, it could have.
Not one particular hypnotist, to be sure - hypnosis and the processes of
hypnosis itself could have given Michael Jackson the support in his darkest
hours he tried to find in a pill bottle, but they simply were not there.
